DATA ANALYTICS BOOTCAMP DAY-2

DAY-2 class is very excited because is beginning of EXCEL 🙂

What you supposed to know about excel as newbie.

  1. THE EXCEL

The other name of excel is spheresheet, in each spreedsheet there’s a Workbook also in each workbook has more then 284 sheet

The Row are those with Alphabet and has 1,048,576 rows on single sheet

The Column are those with Numbers and has 16,384 column on single sheet.

2. GRID LINES ON WORKBOOK dashboard is plen like word dashboard. You can remove it or add it, just like View on dashboard and on it or off it.

3. HOW TO SAVE WORKBOOK
1. Click on File on menu bar
2. Select save or save as
3. Name your file
4. Click save
5. Or click CTRL+S

4. CELL AND CELL RESIGNATION
• Each Cell has designation name: The intersection of Row & Column give the cell name. (Eg: A1) That's Row 1, Column A, and so on and so far.

5. CURSOR FUNCTION
• Highlight
• Drag
• Move
• Increase or Decrease widths
• Increase or Decrease High

TO NIGHTLIGHT: If your cursor turn to big cross white you can use to HIGHLIGHT (Hold your lift click and drag to the number of row/column of your choice)

TO DRAG: Place your cursor at the edge of the cell it'll turn to black without arrow (Hold your lift click and drag it down to the number column of your choice).

TO MOVE: place your cursor at the and side of cell, it'll turn to cross with arrow (Hold your lift clink and drag to the place of your choice).

TO INCREASE OR DECREASE WIDTH: Place your cursor at the center between A&B of row it'll turn to cross with double line (Hold your lift clink and drag it lift or right).

TO INCREASE OR DECREASE HIGH: Place your cursor at the center between 1&2 of column it'll turn to cross with double line (Hold your lift click and drag it up or down)

6. HOW TO CREATE TABLE & TABLE BOARDER
There's a two ways of creating tables in Excel

First method
• Highlight the Row/Column of your choice.
• Select bottom boader drag down on Home page
• Select All Boarder

Second method
• Highlights the Row/Column of your choice.
• Press Ctrl+T
• If your table has header, click my table has headers if not just clink Ok
